Open
a new image (100 x 100), transparent, 24 Bit.
2
Flood fill the image with any color (white, in
our exercise), and click in Effects/ Texture Effects/ Blinds.
Configure the fields as the graphic:

3
It is very important to verify the proportion
of 'width' with the image dimensions. With the width in "5",
with a 100X100 image, the "tile" will be ready, at
the end of the exercise, to be applied into bigger surfaces
with a perfect look. To continue, click OK to apply the definitions
fixed above. Add a new layer, flood fill with "white"
(or any other color of your preference), and reaply Blinds barely
changing the field "Horizontal",
that should now be unchecked.
4
Define this layer opacity, in the Layer
Palette, to 50% (by dragging to the left side the arrow at the
end of its corresponding bar).

5
Your tile is
ready. So that easy! However, we have opened all the possibilities
and nice ways to do tiles with that so simple procedure. Lets
see some?

If you liked
some of these tiles, all you have to do is right-click and save
the image to your computer. They are free to use - but do not
forget to mention the place from where you took these files,
OK? And first of all, don't lose your time: start making your
own tiles... it will be a very amusing thing to do!
Note:
The signed images are not free for use. Do not copy - invent!

Have fun!
